Nope, all of a sudden the thing rolls over, stands up on 2 legs, jumps and flies off. So I start walking up to it thinking it had to be dead. I swear, the thing was man sized but I figured maybe it was a huge hawk or maybe even an eagle that I had killed. So, I get out and walk around to the back of the truck and I see it laying at the side of the road about 50 yards away. I hit the brakes and come to a stop and think for a few seconds before I step out about if I should actually get out…but I do it anyway because I had to see what it was. I realized I was about to hit it windshield level and ducked down below the dash and right as I did it I hear a loud thud at the front of the box right above the cab of the Freightliner I’m driving. Anyway, one night I’m driving down 322 west towards chesterland, OH when I see this huge figure flying right at me in the moonlight. The area is naturally creepy, 2 lane asphalt cut through the forest for miles until you get to the next town, always foggy as hell. “I drive a delivery route at night in a 30 foot box truck through different towns out about 30 miles east of Cleveland. He would tell him, “If you ain’t Jesus, get the hell out of my car!”.” Mothman Never told anyone until my nephew told me he hated driving past ‘that graveyard’, because the ghost of a man would hop in the his car for a ride. “Hated driving by a graveyard at night on the way home, because a male ghost would hop in, and sit in the back seat behind me. That was like 20 yrs ago, and I never forgot that voice.” Hitchhiker Woke up just in time to avoid colliding with a bunch of road construction barrels. I heard a woman’s voice, very gentle whisper in my ear, “Wake up.” Just loud enough to wake me up, but not startle me awake. I was on the freeway, & fell asleep behind the wheel. “Driving home from work one night, exhausted after working a double shift. The time of the accident… 4:05 am.” Wake up This what I found out:Įxactly ten years prior, a group of teenagers were speeding down a suburban road when they lost control, flipped over a guide rail & rolled down the embankment. Not a skid mark, broken glass or flattened grass. The officer said that he was sitting at that location & there was nothing there. I asked the dispatch if I should back down the highway and she told me not to because there was an officer less than 2 mins away.Ģ0 mins later, I get a call from the police, asking exactly where it was. I pulled over and called 911 & gave them the GPS coordinates of the overpass. I could actually see a human fly through the air. We were almost out of Lawton city limits when we saw an older model car, light blue or silver, launch off an embankment, roll 3 or 4 times, end over end. It was 4:05am (I remember because I was afraid we’d miss our flight) & the highway was empty. “My daughter were driving from Wichita Falls, TX to Oklahoma City on I-44 to catch our plane home to PA.

When I looked back it was gone” Ghost crash I freaked out and almost ran off the road. As I looked at it, it turned towards me and it had a human face.

As I was going down the street I saw what looked like a huge black cat. “I was once driving home from my ex boyfriend’s house at around 3 am. Still gives me chills when I drive past it now and it’s been 15 years since it happened!” Black “cat” The next morning as I drove by the same road, I saw the DEAD END sign just past where the couple had gotten out of their car. It was just getting dark and that’s all I could see. As I drove by the “detour” road, I looked over and saw the couple had stopped and had gotten out of their car. I decided not to take that road cause I’m from the country and didn’t want to get lost. They suggested that I take a side road that detours the wreck. A car pulled up beside me and told me that there had been a wreck over the next hill and traffic was stopped. “I had pulled over one night to fuss at my two young children. I asked Creepy Catalog readers for their spookiest “driving at night” stories” and they delivered.
